MFYs @ Angels 2-1 Angels in the 3rd, Kennedy v. Weaver

Kennedy beaten off the mound, 2+ IP, 5 Runs, 9 hits. Yeah, he & Melky were too much to give up.

Yanx not only looked like they were about to beat John Lackey for the 2nd straight time but also come out on top of a Lackey-vs-Dan Geise matchup. They led 2-0 and then 3-1 before the Angels tied it with 2 in the 7th and then threw up an 8-spot in the 8th off the MFY pen.

Phils win - back to a 2 game defecit ChiSox beat BoSox (to take 2 of 3) and take back 1st place from Mini-soda Angels complete the sweep of Yanx. Game was tied in the 9th when the Angels got 2 on against Marte. So Girardi brought in Rivera and Chone Figgins promptly bounced his first pitch through a hole for the win TB wins again (swept Seattle) which not only increased their lead over Boston & NY to 4.5 & 8.5 but also set a franchise record for most wins in a season ever (72).
