Who remembers when you went to a farm stand for a dozen ears of corn, and they gave you a baker's dozen? Do any farm stands do that any more? Does anyone under 30 know what a baker's dozen is?

I was about to say "of course I do!"... but then I remembered I'm 32. Reality check.

I paid a ridiculous number of dollars for some corn over the weekend at a
roadside stand. The other stuff was cheap and then he said how much the
corn was as he was adding it up and I was like, what?

Our local bagel joint gives a baker's dozen, sometimes ya get 14! Can't
make ethanol from a bagel though I guess.

I passed a lot of farm stands today; the price is mostly $3.00 to $3.25 a dozen. By that I imagine a regular dozen :)
