Too bad they picked him up after the Pittsburgh series, or else we could have gotten this line in the GameCast: "A LaRoche grounds into double play, A Reyes to J Reyes to A Reyes, A LaRoche forced out at second." (Of course, this assumes that Our Heinous had replaced Delgado at first, but whatever.)

I know everyone won't read this, but I suggest if the new Reyes gets any beer votes he should be voted as BReyes. At least until Yancy Grimm is back from surfing in the pacific.

It's a bunt. Carlos is charging, but the ball is bunted too hard and goes by him, right to Argenis who picks it up and throws to Jose, who whips it back to Al covering first.

Anthony Reyes was there for the taking not so long ago. Minaya must be slacking. Like I said before, I think Al Reyes is more likely to have an impact than Luis Ayala. And the worst cast scenario is more of what we've already been getting, so I see no downside here.

So, what is the record for number of players with the same last name on one roster? The Giants had the Alou brothers all playing outfield one game, so it can't be less than three.
