This is liable to stay tight the rest of the way. The Marlins look like the best team on paper, but they're in last right now. Assuming Jim Thome doesn't hit .207 the whole year, you have to take the Phillies seriously. The Nats have had a solid pen so far, they're winning with their best player (Vidro) on the DL, and their line-up is better than they get credit for. Ignore them at your peril. And of course, the Braves are still the team to beat until somebody finally proves otherwise.
