I think he's looked mostly pretty good this year. Last night he couldn't spot any pitches for strikes. He only even really got the first out because Schwarber is terrible.

Five infielders, five outfielders, and a full-time DH is not working. Mendoza doesn't like Baty up in key late-game situations against lefthanders. I could dispute that in general, but most importantly with regard to the roster, Carlos is using two guys, from an already short bench, to replace one....
