Hey!! Four runs in the first.

A few more innings like that would be helpful.

And when I write "a few," I'm thinking nine.

I didn't think Sixto Sanchez was even going to come out for the 2nd inning much less
ggetting through the 4th and doing so basically untouched.

The word to describe the Mets game today will be "melancholic." I repeat, "melancholic."

Bader's batting gloves and shin guards look ridiculous.

Sean Reid-Foley's mustache and this whole mustache societal trend is great. I hope they bring back those big 1980s eyeglasses next.

Gary talking about how SRF and Garrett have had a "couple off-beat outings," like they're anomalous. No, Gary, what SRF and Garrett have been SO FAR is what's anomalous, and they're just coming down to earth. "Regression to the mean."

Gary's had a couple funny quips, usually Keith is the one that makes me laugh, but Gary's doing well today.

No way any of this will come back to bite them.

Harrison Bader is the first "Bader" to play in MLB in about a century.

It's that pubey-looking facial hair on Diekman's face that's bringing him down.

Diekman's tossing some pitches a little too close to directly over the heart of the plate.
