Signed away under the radar to a minor league contract a week ago. The veteran of 14 appearances for the Mets now serves Brewer interests.

That Sunday game in L.A. in which Buck had only Adonis to close and Adonis closed, never mind that he had to quell the heart of the Dodger order. It was the game that certified the Mets as one of the bona fide title contenders.

Yeah, and I guess that's where I got the idea that Adonis was gonna be a guy. He wasn't much afterward, but he retained my faith.
