The Mets must win tonight to have a shot at their sixth series win

Severino has been lights out. Let's see how he does on this road assignment

Joey Wendle back in the lineup and Harrison Bader getting a rest, as the Mets stack the lineup with lefties.

Giants try to do the same, only not as drastically.

Hope for the best. Expect the Mets.

Narváez not only just got the Mets first hit, it was the first hit from the catcher position since Álvarez hurt hisself.

Nice hustle.

A low-pitch, quick moving game for a change.

Fitty-eight pitches through four. He practically struck out Soler three times in one trip to the plate.

Great show so far, but let's get him some supportage.

That inning plays out differently with a batter/more experienced LF
- McNeil seemed to deep on Concerto's opposite field bloop so a single rather than an out
- then his throw home on the ground single was too high and off-line
a good throw maybe nails the runner and even a lower one that doesn't keeps the other
runners on 1st & 2nd instead of 2nd & 3rd

I'm yelling "SOMEBODY COVER THE PLATE" at the TV on that foul pop-up as Narvaez, Alonso, and Severino
all converged on it near the 1B dugout.
Fortunately Lindor heard me.

Nice run-saving snag by Wendle!!

84 pitches for Logan Webb thru 7 innings.
That's a good number for 5-2/3

I think Keith just nailed it. This team makes no in game adjustments.

Flailing at the change up all game long.

Now all the team that's scored one run in the last 26 innings needs is a six run rally here in the 9th!!

Just now hitting the two hour mark as the 9th inning starts.

Joey Wendle, looking ahead, is scheduled to be your tying run.

And against Rogers, he'd certainly be likely to bat.
