Fun-scoring run-scoring outs are nothing to sneeze at.

Neither is this impressive start by Manaea, with no walks through five.

Best infield arm since Shawon Dunston is high praise.

I'm trying to think of guys in the interim. Omar Vizquel? Rafael Furcal? Rey-O?

Manaea needs a mound visit.

Baty got reamed on a ball called a strike; Manaea got screwed on a strike called a ball

Man, I thought Nimmo might have gotten to that.

Bader might have.

Bader is in there now, although it's weird to double-switch Stewart out when his spot is due to lead off in the 8th.

Bader off the RHP, rather than Stewart, works out after all.

I'm not as sure about this overturn as Gary & Keith seem to be.

I thought he was safe via live action and he may have been ... but I don't think the replay definitively showed that.

Gary brings up video games and all Keith can counter with is pinball.

Against Burleson, that was the most impressive fastball for Diaz yet this year.

I was called away for a few innings there. Any reports on what became of Wendle?

I'm really curious what happened to Wendle.

It was very much The Joey Wendle Game in an upside-down way. Not only does he get a start, but he bats ahead of McNeil.

Then he gets replaced by Pete Alonso, and the Mets get better defensively, but worse offensively. Weird.
