Good to see someone on this team finally capitalize on an opportunity with runners on base, especially after McNeil farted one away in the first inning

I would be SHOCKED!! if MLB was completely devoid of cigarette smokers.
Fewer than in the past? Shit yeah. But none ... out of 800 some players? No way.

The NO FUN POLICE (stadium security) are taking away Mets Fans "Ghost Fork" signs. fuck that. Steve Cohen should ban all A's gear from Citi Field... oh wait, the A's don't have any fans anyway!

McNeil has to get in the act here. Even Nido has reached base and scored.

And now those 2 RISP seem even more important.
Jeff doesn't seem right. It's as if his leaving the Mets to sit on the bench for two weeks for another team wasn't a good idea.

I bet packing seven ribbies onto his total is pretty scintillating for Lindor.

The bad news is that, despite all the baserunners, we've notched just two hits w/RiSP
The good is that those two have resulted in 7 runs

Wow, Hogan Harris just had about as bad MLB debut as possible. His MLB dream just turned into a nightmare.

If Vogelbach didn't beat out that throw to first to thwart the potential double play, he would've made all three outs in the inning.

Maybe, but he still gets to go bed with the name "Hogan Harris," which is pretty cool.

Daniel Vogelbach just beat out a doubleplay grounder for an RBI. This game has everything.

The Mets individual record for RBI in a game is nine by Carlos Delgado. Lindor is two short of that.

I'm not sure what their team record is for walks in a game, but it looks like a night we might find out.

I miss the days of longer benches where you could pull a good chunk of your lineup in a game like this.

It seems almost strange not to see anyone off the bench in a blowout here - No Alvarez? No LoCastro?
