XIGT: 3/2, NYM@MIA

Mets are celebrating Lou Reed's birthday with a visit to Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, Florida to take on the Marlins, as they currently trail 3-0.

Sean Manaea currently rocking the most fabulous mane in — I shit you not — team history.

I told you that I wasn't shitting. I'd pay the price of admission just to see the sun shoot off of this guy's locks.

Best free-agent signing in team history.

So…no chance we’ll ever get to see his hair again?

He'll break camp with the team. He settled down after the first.

The Mets are currently down 4-1 after Brett Baty's first homer of the spring.

McNeil and Nimmo are still little more than a rumor.

And my other kid, Mike Vasil, pitched a scoreless inning.

Game over, as the Mets, fielding half a lineup, put up a scratch four hits and two (both by Alonso) walks.

DJ Stewart, seemingly the most frequently appearing Met in the first week of games, has been really coming up short.

McNeil is resting a sore arm. Zimmo is supposed to play tomorrow and Bader on Tuesday. I think this is Buck Showalter's nemesis, "load management."

Sore arms are prohibitive, but a DH appearance would be a welcome site for sore eyes.

I hope Nimmo isn’t getting a big head

McNeil's arm soreness is in his left, non-throwing arm, so what do I know? He's already working with a partially torn UCL in that arm, but he insists it's unrelated, but what does he know?

Nimmo is expected to make his spring debut today.
