I would rather have Iglesias on the team than Short.
But Short is on the 40 man and Iglesias isn't.
So that may be a problem.

A homer from Alonso as well, three scoreless innings from Severino for the win, along with a save by a guy name Yacksel. Pretty sweet all around.

And Miami had the home team.

Three of the MIA hits were to RF where DJ Stewart was playing and I thought that Starling Marte might have caught all three. Also, DJ is hitting .000 this spring. And he has a minor league option. Another week of this and a bench spot/LH DH spot will be up for grabs.

Good point. It may already be up for grabs, considering the way Trayce Thompson is hitting. Alonso, Álvarez, and Thompson have provided about 85-90% of the Mets offense so far.
