I enjoyed the hell out of it, you put up a good fight my man. Nice work.

(I did know the Final Jeopardy question but not several thousand dollars' worth of other ones that you got correct).

I apologize if I spoiled. I figured embedding the video was ... I don't know what I was thinking. Sorry.

I question whether Panama can be definitively said to be on a different continent than Colombia. But yeah, like so many Jeopardy! questions, the better clue is woven into the answer than the answer itself. 1903 was the key.

Great job, LWFS!

You could have given me 10 guesses and I wouldn't have gotten FJ question right even though when the category came up I was relatively confident.

That's what screwed me up too. I don't think of Central America as North America, but it's not South either so I guess it technically is North.

I say it's a grand isthmus joining two continents, but part of neither.

I mean, Central America and North America are grouped together by FIFA, but even they call it CONCACAF — Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football. It's a federation, but geographically (and, more importantly, geologically) distinct.

LWFS needs a lawyer. A lawyer, a planetologist, and a semantacist. We can still win this thing.

Nah. You're okay I think. You didn't spoil anything. You posted the whole show. So what's the difference if someone saw the show earlier today from your link or if they see it tomorrow on live NYC TV? A spoiler would be if you posted the outcome but not the video, thus revealing the ending while depriving readers of the experience itself.

Anyways, that's quite an impressive showing. I would imagine that it's even harder playing live in real time in the TV studio with all the lights and the live audience and everything. I knew that "Bashful" answer, for example. I could even visualize the answer in my mind. But I couldn't form the right word properly. I was thinking "Bashy" and then "Awful", and that was from the comfort of my living room and without the added pressure of being an actual contestant.

I mean, I saw Edgy's "heartbreaker" post before the show had started, so, in that sense, he definitely was the spoiler.

I thought something similar to what Batmags thought - when the music started and I told Fboy, "OK, right here I bet is where you actually pee and poop in your pants."

I have always wondered this, do the second and third place players keep the money they have left( if anything) or is it $2k and $1k ?

I'll say it — Lloyd's using smart drugs.

The $2000 probably paid most of his expenses, and he got a great experience, I'm sure.

Now LWFS needs to come rejoin us, as metirish did.

I recorded it and watched this morning. My spoiler was LFWS's IG post featuring him in a Jeopardy hat and caption that ended with *sigh*.

I wondered if for a second he was like "hell yeah!!" when THE NATIONAL PASTTIME was revealed as a category.

Helluva showing, dude!

Lloyd: What is Community?

Ken: Correct for $2000

Lloyd: TV THEME SONGS for $1600?

Ken: "You woke up this morning, got yourself a gun."

Francis: What is The Sopranos?

Ken: Right! You're from New Jersey.

Francis: TV THEME SONGS for ... the fuck did you just say?

Ken: Um, you're from New Jersey ... where that show was set ... and ...

Francis: So we're all involved in organized crime? Mooks? Goombahs? Is that what you think, Jennings?!

Ken: This is perhaps a good time to cut to cut to a commercial.

Francis: I think we're going to stay right where we are and we're gonna have this conversation.

Did anyone note, or if someone still has it recorded could you check, if LWFS structured his FJ bet so that he would have won had hairy dude also answered FJ incorrectly?

I found this: https://thejeopardyfan.com/2023/01/fina ... -2023.html
Final Jeopardy! wagering suggestions:
(Scores: Lloyd $20,200 Francis $14,200 Sarah $8,200)

Lloyd: Standard cover bet over Francis is $8,201. Because of the evenly spaced scores, you are greatly harming your chances of victory by going over this number. (Actual bet: $8,888)

Francis: Standard cover bet over Sarah is $2,201. Because of the evenly spaced scores, this exact bet gives you the best chance of winning today. (Actual bet: $6,000)

Sarah: Regardless of what you do, you must bet at least $3,800. Because you have to be correct to win, you might as well go all-in to maximize your potential winnings if you do win. (Actual bet: $2,201)

Current champion Jake is getting a lot of hate on Twitter, no doubt I find his antics a little annoying but people need to relax( he may or may not be on the spectrum?)

I stopped DVR'ing after our hero LWFS departed so I'm not familiar with Jake. But people online need to relax a little in general, don't they?
