I tend to think that thought occurs to him every day. But I also tend to think he's got a drinking issue with which he fends off the pain of self confrontation.

Surrounding yourself with people who pretend your alternate reality is real also helps keep that wolf away, even as they are an increasingly fringe-y crowd of people.

What I keep coming back to is not-yet-Mayor Giuliani launching into his first successful mayoral campaign of 1993 by fomenting a police riot. Using mob violence for personal advancement was nothing new to him on January 6. At some level, it has always been a part of who he is, even back in the times when he presented a civil front.

In fairness, I thought Colbert's riffing on the Kennedy news was pretty tasteless and small too.

Colbert isn't a member of Congress representing Americans, of course.

That’s awful and incredibly disrespectful. If he’s Tweeting that himself, he should be ashamed.

At least the worm got a meal.
If it had been in Eric Trump's head, it would have starved to death.
