Even More Pet Stuff 2024

Post by kcmets » Fri Jan 05, 2024 2:23 pm

Kappy went in for a check under the hood today. Our munchkin is a
whopping 45 lbs. Three shots, a stool analysis (results pending) and a
courtesy manicure. All good! Vets make buku bucks!

They do. Especially when your pets enter their senior years. Sixteen years ago we adopted a puppy and two kittens and then my now ex-wife left me with three senior pets. (I'm sadly down to two now.) When taking all three in for their checkups and shots and bloodwork etc. I'd be lucky to get out of there paying less than $900.

Today was check up day fir Patchouli, too!

Some vax, ear drops, and bloodwork.

Sadly, I lost a grand kitty on Monday; LoBoy would have been 17 this year. His wife Charlie will also be 17, and their remaining four kittens will be 16 years old.

Yay, for healthy checkups and condolences for LoBoy. 17 is a pretty nice run.

I have a cat called Tumbleweed. She drastically lost weight over a couple weeks this spring and we took her to the vet who said she most likely had something awful and we needed to test her for everything immediately. $1100 bucks and half a dozen clean tests later, we had what he deemed a perfectly healthy cat who didn't like her food anymore, so that's cool. :/ She gained all her weight back and almost a year later is fine.
great googly moogly!

Yoshi is such a sweet puppy, we love him so much, now that he's all caught up on vaccines etc ( at least for now ) he's been out walking and really likes it , Shiba Inu's are known to take to potty outside naturally and he has , we have not bathed him yet and we need too, they are known not to like water , but he needs it, let's see

I see this yesterday and thought no way. I would have guessed 2.5 years

That's pretty old for a cat, but it's not unheard of.
