Simpson's family has announced O.J.'s death from cancer.
Hope for the best. Expect the Mets.

He should have died in prison.

I kinda remember that being in the middle of a Knicks playoff game
and they kept cutting to the chase and my being really annoyed.

Anyone remember that?

Yep, I remember that. As Ben said, he should have died in prison.

Knicks were good that year, lost in finals to Houston in 6 or 7...

I was in the cafeteria at Bell Labs in New Jersey.
All the TV sets had pictures of the local news showing the Bronco chase.
I never paid much attention to the trial.
But I do remember the glove didn't fit. They had to acquit.

The day after we saw film celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hank Aaron's record breaking home run, we saw film of Simpson's slow run home.

Yes I was in a packed bar in Jersey (I think?) watching. It went picture in picture than all OJ. I have to now hit up the guy I was with who'll actually remember the details.

Just got a text. It was Rocky Hill Inn near Princeton (still open!). The bartender, Bobby, took exception to our making OJ jokes.

Yes, the 'low speed chase' was concurrent with the NBA Finals Game 5 at MSG, a game the Knicks would go on
to win vs Houston to go up 3 games to 2 in the series but also the last game they'd win.

Personally, I was on a golfing holiday with a couple of guys in eastern PA where a work contact who had invited
us for the weekend outing put us up in his weekender cabin on the Susquehanna River.
But there was no TV in the cabin so no NYK game and no OJ chase. Never saw a second of it.

He made all people visiting him in his final days sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Did he confess?
