Regardless of his box score line, you could automatically lay in a half-point for Guillorme every game based on his defense and it would be very valid.
Hope for the best. Expect the Mets.

Right, and good point. My voting is based solely on the box score and
pretty much ignores stellar defensive play. I'm just noting this now be-
cause I started looking at the Marlins series and see you gave Luis .50
sips when he went 0-4 with 3 K's. Then I remembered your post above.

Starting tomorrow, when I can, I will keep better track of defense (keep
notes). I mean if a guy robs someone of a home run and I don't remember
five days later when serving brewski that's bad voting on my part.

Luis thanks you for watching him work. The finale at Citi vs. the Astros won’t show much for anybody in the box score, but Guillorme was a machine at third base (where he hadn’t been playing much), with 10 assists and a pair of putouts. How one chooses to Schaeferize that is up to the voter, but it’s definitely part of the game story.
Hope for the best. Expect the Mets.

It would have been Mazzilli, Swan, Youngblood, and some slim pickings after that.

The CYO might have felt differently.

I am thinking of using the daily fantasy DFS awarded points as a metric for this.

On 6/28 the Mets lost 9-1 and Marte got 5.87 votes after a 3-4 with 2 doubles.

I'm not complaining but I don't quite get it.
