I don't really care about the money either. If Steve Cohen is willing to spend it, it's perfectly fine by me. But the Mets often signal that they don't want to spend crazy money, and then take on an expense of $60 million for one year of Pete Alonso. So... wow. They've pretty much already signaled ...
