With Tampa Bay, cryptocurrency

I tell you, in New York, you hit
homerun, they give giant apple

With Tampa Bay, you hit homerun,
they give permission to eat

I don't get the joke at the top of the thread and I'm certain that I've seen every single Sopranos episode at least four times. At least. I googled "Jimmy the Yak" and "Jimmy the Yak Sopranos" and the most relevant hits I got were about recurring character Jimmy Altieri. Is that it?
Re: Jimmy the Yak
“Jimmy Yacabonis” has always sounded to me like an ancillary character from a mob movie or series is all.
Hope for the best. Expect the Mets.

I hope he becomes known widely as Jimmy the Magnificent Met.

Also, Jimmy is from Elizabeth, New Jersey, official Tony Soprano territory.
