I got eight of nine. I missed on the Texas Gold Glove. I considered Oddibe McDowell, Toby Harrah, and Ivan Rodriguez. I went with McDowell, but of the three, Rodriquez was the only correct answer.

Astros/Rangers: Nolan Ryan 51%
Astros/Nationals: Rusty Staub 4%
Astros/200K: Mike Scott 5%
Dodgers/Rangers: Frank Howard 0.5%
Dodgers/Nationals: Max Scherzer 21%
Dodgers/200K: Sandy Koufax 19%
Gold Glove/Rangers: --
Gold Glove/Nationals: Ellis Valentine 0.6%
Gold Glove/200K: Greg Maddux 54%

Ugh - while I used all Expos for the Nationals in the grid, I forgot about the Rangers previously being the Senators.

Charlie Hough was my Dodger/Ranger. I was trying to remember Bo Belinsky's name, but as it turned out, he didn't play for either of them.

I screwed up my perfect grid by confusing my west coast Nats and putting Juan Soto in as a Dodger Nat when I meant Trea Turner.

I forgot all about the Expos and so couldn't come up with answers on two questions thinking of Nationals alone.

The Texas Gold Glove was an easy one for me, only because I'll always remember Rafael Palmiero's 1999 Gold Glove at First base proving forever how incredibly dumb most baseball writers are. He played 128 games at DH that year.

The thing about the GG votes (at least in that era) is that they were often the worst ones out of all the categories despite, or maybe because, they were the ones Not voted on by the writers. For many years it was the mangers and coaches who picked those.

I don't either and, even if I did, the odds of that fact occurring to me would be near zero.
I'd get Maybe 20% of these two team questions. And most of that would be from blindly guessing Todd Zeile, Rich Hill, and Octavio Dotel over and over again.

Once again, the dreaded TB logo. At first, I was confused and found myself trying to think of Blue Jays and A's players who had had tuberculosis. The app was a little glitchy today. I got credit for Victor Zambrano as a Ray and a Jay (but you doesn't has to call him Johnson) but instead of seeing his name and a photo, I just got a green box with a little 0.1% in the upper right corner. I had tried guessing Rico Carty for Twins/A's (which would have been wrong, by the way) but his name wasn't available in the lookup list. I thought I had awoken in an alternate universe in which there was never a Rico Carty, a world in which grapefruits taste sweet and penguins can fly.

Anyway, seven of nine for me today:

Rays/Jays: Victor Zambrano 0.1%
Rays/A's: --
Rays/All-Star: Evan Longoria 25%
Twins/Jays: Jack Morris 6%
Twins/A's: --
Twins/All-Star: Rod Carew 3%
100RBI/Jays: Carlos Delgado 11%
100RBI/A's: Reggie Jackson 8%
100RBI/All-Star: Darryl Strawberry 0.2% (one of 482 valid answers; this would be a hard one to miss)

Twins/A's: --

100RBI/A's: Reggie Jackson 8%
100RBI/All-Star: Ted Williams 0.7%
