I got an 8/9 after coming up empty on my Royal Pirate also. But I felt pretty good about pulling Dan Schatzeder out of my buttocks for my Royal Giant.

I also went conservatively for Mays/Clemente/Rose in the .300 row. sharpie deserves a lot of credit for zagging while others zigged, but he's a genius and that's all there is to it.

My Giant Met was T. Shinjo. My Pirate Met was Bob Friend. My Red Met was Gus Bell.

The quest for an immaculate grid continues, as I got my second consecutive 8.

Rocky Padre: Jason Marquis 0.4
Rocky Cardinal: Nolan Arenado 44
Rocky base stealer: Dante Bichette 14
Cleveland Padre: Mike Clevinger 24
Cleveland Cardinal: Keef 3
Cleveland base stealer: Kenny Lofton 40
Diamond Padre: Steve Finley 15
Diamond Cardinal: Paul Goldschmidt 62
Diamond base stealer:

For the Diamondback base stealer, I thought about AJ Pollock. I can't not think of him first, as he's both my birthday homeboy and one letter off from being my last name homeboy. But I decided that he never got enough plate appearances to get to 30SB (wrong!) and went with Steve Finley. Finley had several seasons of 30SB, but none in Arizona.

It did occur to me after my wrong guess that Finley would fit in the Diamondback/Padre box.

Dante Bichette, generally a big slow guy, had this weird season in the late 90s when he stole 32 bases while the rest of MLB was in the midst of a steroid fueled slugfest. I think it was the same season that Brady Anderson hit 50 HRs leading off for the O's.

Mike Clevinger famously (around here, anyway) got run out of town and sent to San Diego after he violated COVID protocols.

I didn't think Jason Marquis was that obscure.

As a native Staten Islander Jason Marquis is not obscure at all!

Love the percentages on your card

As an older person I am nailing quite a few on players that have been long forgotten

Thanks. It could've been even lower if I took more time. Right after posting, I thought of Aurelio Rodriguez for Angels/Tigers.

Fernando Rodney took me forever and was really a wild guess

I'm shocked at Roger Clemens being only 7%

I went with David Cone in that box.

Every time Tampa Bay comes up in this game, I kind of feel sad for all three players in that column.

I got everything except the center square. I thought Cecil Cooper was a Brewer/Phillie.

There was a Brewer/Phillie slugger that I couldn't think of and it was driving me nuts. I could picture him, but vaguely. I don't know how, but I think that your post jarred my memory -- Larry Hisle.

Blue Jays/Indians: Joe Carter
Blue Jays/Phillies: --
Blue Jays/200 hits: Jon Olerud
Brewers/indians --
Brewers Phillies: John Vukovich (second Vukovich guess)
Brewers/ 200 hits: Paul Molitor
100 RBI/Indians: Albert Belle
100 RBI/Phillies Mike Schmidt
100 RBI/200 Hits: Henry Aaron (first guess was Ted Williams - Surprised he never had 200 hits.)
