He was on the list the day he was acquired. If anything he's pitching his way off the tradable list

The game wound up with a total of an even dozen strike-outs ... but only the last one mattered.

Was Jack"Hairbredth Harry" pitching?

Hamilton was the team's closer in 1966. He'd come in with a lead and allow just enough runs (usually by walks) to keep the lead, usually by ending things with a strikeout.

Hamilton was traded to the Angels the next year, where he threw the pitch that ended Tony Conigliaro's career.

Well, with two more wins over the Nats, and the assistant of the Braves beating them on Thursday, and third place is OURS heading into London!

I couldn't watch. Like, could not. They are bad for my mental health. I followed the 9th inning on MLB gameday and watched cartoons with my kids instead.

Cartoons, where fewer illogical things occur than in late-inning NYM games.

Having used last year's spreadsheet to tabulate PoTG points again this season, every time a new Met joins in the scoring, I have to remove a Met from last season.

José Iglesias takes over Zack Muckenhirn's line, while Luís Torrens displaces Vinny Nittoli.
