It seems that every time there is an encouraging report regarding Senga's progress, he throws a bullpen session or live BP and the next day there is some little twinge or discomfort which further delays his rehab. The Senga injury saga is starting to feel a lot like the numerous DeGrom ones that we went through (and Texas still is) with DeGrom.

As good as he looked I'm beginning to really worry about him physically.

I always said Met fans overrated Senga. If you take away his best season the guy sucks.

He pitched 2 2/3 perfect innings tonight (35 pitches) and struck out six.

This post didn't get nearly enough appreciation.

Sat six rows behind home plate to watch Kodai in his rehab start last night. He looked good in the first two innings but finished with a pair of walks in the third. I think he was just gassed, at 50 pitches and on an 85F or so evening.

Was fun to watch those pitches break up close like that. He may start another game here on Sunday though I will not be there to attend it.
