I don't think Diaz has ever found his sweeping 2022 slider, but his current slider has a drop and is working sort of like a sinker or change, and that's what he got Harper on.

I think he's starting to have confidence in what he has rather than searching for what he's lost.

Just got around to watching this one. Manaea is pitching at Cy Young-quality right now.

September ERA: 2.36
Since July 2: 7-2 W-L, 2.83 ERA, 107 K in 101 2/3 innings, 5.48 H/9, 0.875 WHIP. Mets are 14-2 in Manaea's game since July 2.
Since June 14: 9-2 W-L, 2.76 ERA, 123 K in 117 1/3 innings, 5.37 H/9, 0.903 WHIP. Mets are 16-3 in Manaea's appearances since June 14.

All told, Mets are 23-8 in games in which Manaea's pitched.
