Should we resign Mr Met?

One of the reasons the Grimace worked so well was the way he brought innocent mascot mischief back into the park. That used to be Mr Met's game, before he morphed into his current role as a jolly but not funny cheerleader. I don't think Ms Met has helped his game either. She's exactly like he is only with boobs. They come off as interns in costumes.

What are your thoughts?

Obviously not an intended outcome but Grimace really mobilized the fan base and made the Mets a thing in culture.

Mrs. Met definitely took away from his vibe. He needs to go back to being the burly bachelor.
