Ohtani expected to be in the lineup for Game 3 Monday night following a Sublaxation (partial dislocation) of his left shoulder while caught stealing.
btw, he was successful in 59 of 63 SB attempts during the season.

I am not surprised that Ohtani will be back in the line up. Once I heard the diagnosis of a partial seperation of the shoulder, I expected he would be able to continue as the Dodgers DH. I don't expect the injury to affect his swing. Lucky for Ohtani and the Dodgers the injury was not to his throwing arm.

As a junior in high school, I slid into second base to break up a double play and partially seperated my right shoulder & tore the rotator cuff. I couldn't lift my arm above my shoulder without pain for 2 weeks, but I could swing a bat fine. I shifted from 3rd base to DH for 2 weeks, then moved to second base for the remainder of the season where I could make shorter, side-armed throws.

Let’s hope he’s healthy enough to finish the job.

Then hurts his knee celebrating the WS title costing him all of next year. And the five years after.

I expect he will be okay.

I can't in good conscience, wish for an injury to Ohtani (or anyone else).

I would love to see the MFYs get swept out this week, today and tomorrow. Let the Bronx rabble choke on their $2000 tickets and replica Yankee jerseys with player names on the back.

There's a World Series going on?

I hope they both lose.

Walker Buehler vs. Clark Schmidt

ESPN says Yankees 60.7% chance to win.

I'm sure he'll play. Any decent power hitter would pull the I.V. out of his arm and roll off the gurney to play in that bandbox.

I'm liking the results so far (although one more hit would have really broken it open) but, at this pace (1:15 for 2-1/2 innings) I'm not going to make it through 9

The Dodgers have to quit walking Gleyber Torres (3x in 2+ games so far).
Given his spot in the lineup, it's not the kind of thing you can get away with forever.

He might have slipped the hand underneath but I don't overturn this call.

I actually thought he would have been thrown out lumbering into second base

He's slow, he got a bad jump, and he didn't cut 3rd base well.

Lux almost looked hisself into being thrown out at the plate there.
He looked over his shoulder at least three times on his way home.

Really, Banda? You're gonna walk your first hitter on four pitches?!?!?

oe: and he gets lucky on a generous strike three call to end the 7th inning.
