While some of you may rail and gnash at the lack of burnin' competition in some other fields, this one promises to be red hot. Some guys were solid for one part of the year, some guys for another. Some were healthy for part of the year, but broken for another. Some had big moments, and some were mostly below the radar but rock steady, steady rockin' all night long.

Yes, that's the truth. Only eight slots are available, as the reality, for better or for worse, is that the Mets only used eight guys this season to staff left, center, and right. These are those brave players who responded to their nation's call:

Voting will remain open for one calendar week, unless disaster strikes, and unpredictable events render these efforts in vain.
