That's what now tonight, two GiDPs, one CS, plus a pickoff?
Pitching gets easier when you only need to retire 17 hitters to get 21 outs.

Soto is…not that fast. Not Vientos-slow, but not that fast.

Rocket to lf wall, too hard-hit to score Soto.

Watching him run a day or two ago I had the sudden thought that he's going to be Albert Pujols slow by the end of his contract, and maybe several years before it ends.

That CF was REALLY shallow there. I wasn't sure Siri was going to be able to score on that.

Is our optimal defensive alignment with Acuna at second, or at third?

I'd go Baty 3b, Acuna at 2B.

This is a no-walks situation for Stanek.

And--BOOKS!!

A quick, drama-free, and efficient save with Stanek picking corners left and right.
What a concept!

Mets pitchers are excellent. Too many guys haven't found their swing yet.

I kinda feel that the pitching isn't as good as it's looked and the hitting isn't as bad as it's looked.
