Mets Opening Day IGT @ Houston - 3/27- 4:10pm
Re: Mets Opening Day IGT @ Houston - 3/27- 4:10pm
Anybody trying to stream this?
Fortunately I am watching in my living room via my old fashioned ‘cable provider’ on a television and all is well.
Occasionally I do stream though depending on my location and/or situation via the SNY app. MLB now having taken that over from SNY, I thought I’d test it out today.
So far, NO GOOD. Anybody else?

I hope the Mets win.

I like the continuity on this team. Lot of familiar faces. Twenty of the 25 guys on the 25-man roster played with the club in '24.*

They are OK--an inconsequential change. im not sure i could express what they looked like before . At least they restored the surname letters to regulation size.Channel9 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 27, 2025 4:35 pmThought I’d really like them but….not so much.Johnny Lunchbucket wrote: ↑Thu Mar 27, 2025 4:27 pm Lookit these new unis with the narrow stripes and Ed Kranepool patch

Mine took until the bottom of the 2nd before kicking in.
And MLB.TV has their usual stellar, and by 'stellar' I mean incompetent, customer service working well: not answering phones, acknowledging
that they received my on line input but not doing anything about it, etc.

Good pitch to K that fella.
Re: Mets Opening Day IGT @ Houston - 3/27- 4:10pm
Should have set Soto in moto when Alonso had them 3-2.
I would feel confident that Alonso can put anything over the plate into play.

Should have asked who makes the 3rd out at 3rd base first

Nimmo still doesn't look all that comfortable getting around.

Only five of Ronnie's eight 2nd game starts (as Gary just mentioned) were with the Mets. #6, 7, and 8 were when he was with Oakland.
And those five NYM #2's all came consecutively in '84 - '88, four behind Gooden and once behind Bobby O (in '87 when Doc was under suspension).
By '89 he started Game #3 behind Gooden and Ojeda
In '90 he got the sixth start though I don't know why. Doc, Viola, Sid, Cone, then Doc again
By his final NYM season in '91 he was relegated to fifth starter status following Gooden, Viola, Cone, and Wally Whitehurst
