Does anyone have the 10am game on Tubi playing? I can't find it. I had the
end of the Italy game on before and it loaded automatically when I clicked on
'Live TV' on the top menu.

I don't, but I don't have the tubi app installed on this TV.

Dayummm, Tokyo Dome was rocking last night! https://www.mlb.com/news/shohei-ohtani- ... _pk=719533

I'll take 'Sentences I Thought I'd Never Hear' for $600 Alex.

It never loaded, so much for hi-tech streaming services.

Skip Bayless is still unwatchable in case anyone was wondering.

He is the worst. Doesn't shut up. Acts like everything he says is brilliant. And he was on the Braves.

After a Austin Barnes double , Colombia walks Arozarena and takes their chances with leftie Verdugo , Zuniga throws 100+ and blows him away ... Tied at 4 going to extra innings

Upset! Upset!
Colombia is Cinderella ... Will the glass slipper fit?!?

Sorry, I got carried away. I thought that's how we're supposed to react at this time of year.

Team Venezuela is pouring out of the dugout to celebrate 4th Inning runs and even hits in their game vs the D.R. Definitely not treating it like an exhibition.

V 3 - DR 1, Top 5

In the US v UK game (just starting) how are they going to overcome the language barrier?

OK, haven't seen 'em all, but 'Great Britain' appears to have the 'worst uni prize' locked up.
I've worn more interesting stuff during college intramural games that we got from local sporting goods stores.

Jeff McNeil sitting on an 0-3 as the US leads 5-1.

Vance Worley, who hasn't seen MLB action since 2017, throwing three innings without an earned run for the glory of King Charles. Unfortunately, two unearnies slipped in there.

Matt Harvey went 4 today for Italy, and manager Mike Piazza, while only giving up 1 ER as Italy defeats the Netherlands and advances to the quarterfinals.

WBC was really goddamn fun, yall. Had a day/night doubleheader on Saturday with Dodgers/Cubs and USA/GB. Took only one picture in the day time game, but it was on a pitch that Syndergaard gave up a bomb to someone. LOL

The spring training game was very crisp (the clock and pace was absolutely apparent) but it was 100% spring training vibes. Get a beer and get some sun and watch some baseball. I was a little disappointed the game was only 2:20. The sun felt good on my skin after all the snow and cold this winter.

Zip back to the hotel, get an uber and go downtown to the Diamondbacks stadium for the night game. Vibes 100% different. Lines were around the block to get into the stadium an hour and a half before start time. The energy before first pitch felt as close to a playoff baseball game as I've experienced outside an actual playoff game. Everyone standing. Some USA USA chants. Bunch of dudes dressed like founding fathers. A handful of disappointed fans because Alonso was on the pine (ok, just me). 39,650 was the attendance reported in the box score and it was electric.

Our neighbors were from Tijuana and came for both WBC games that day. Even though Mexico wasn't playing that game, there were a TON of Mexican fans in the stadium and they were FUN. Watching that group of American all-stars warm up before the game was pretty wild. The offense is just littered with super stars. This part is anecdotal, but there seemed like way more kids on the kid-to-adult ratio at the WBC game than the ST game. And it felt like every person there stopped what they were doing when Mike Trout did anything. He has a magnetism that I know he doesn't totally embrace, but everyone there was keyed in on Trout. He is baseball's reluctant Lebron James.

Due to time restraints (but mostly money) we skipped USA/Mexico last night (StubHub had tickets started at $250 for the sold out game). I did have a friend in attendance who has been to lots of Rockies and AAA Albuquerque games, and got this update from him during the game which summed it all up perfectly:

TL;DR - the WBC is awesome. Go once if you ever get the chance.

Great recap.

With Yoenis Céspedes bringing it for Cuba, Matt Harvey getting his Itallian on, and Ruben Tejada donning his Panama hat, I love the fact that the tournament is filled with these figures from the Mets' 2015 pennant run still chasing the cup years after their last MLB appearances.

What this tournament needs is some Daniel Murphy.

California-born Freddie Freeman, playing for Canada, clearly hates America.

Earlier, Puerto Rico not only beat team Israel and not only run-ruled them (10 - 0) but perfect-gamed them (though just thru 8 innings on account of the run rule).

9 - 0 USA, end of one.
Yes, there are no typos in that.
