Good call on Gwynne as a 100+ RBI man
I wouldn't have gone there.

He was on my fantasy team the year that he had something like 10 home runs and 102 RBI. Not sure he ever hit double figures in home runs again, and pretty near certain he never came close to 100 RBIs otherwise.

(after checking - 1997, 17 HR, 119RBIs, along with a .372 BA. 4 other seasons of 10+ HRs. I got a lot of grief for overpaying for Gwynn and his one dimensional fantasy contributions before the season, and it was a lot of fun watching him prove the critics at my old job wrong.)
The first principle is that you must not fool yourself, and you are the easiest person to fool.

8 of 9 due to whiffing on TOR/CHW after taking a few flyers on TOR/LAD (Raul Mondesi) and TOR/LAA (Dominic Leone) which, to my great surprise, turned out to both be correct.

This is the twelfth time I've been immaculate. Rarity score of 61. I had thought about trying to go with all old-timers, guys who played before I became a fan, but even though all of the teams were original franchises, I couldn't fill out that first column.

STL/BOS: Jack Clark 2%

DET/BOS: David Wells 0.8%
DET/200 HITS: Charlie Gehringer 2%
DET/HOF: Hal Newhouser 5%
SF/BOS: Carl Mays 0.1%
SF/200 HITS: Bobby Bonds 10%
SF/HOF: Bill Terry 0.4%

I really like it when it the grid contains old teams so you can try to fill as many black-and-white images as you can. Carl Mays I got only because when I lived in SF there was some quiz about "FIRST Mays of the Giants" and it was Carl not Willie, Carl more known for his Boston on-the-field fight with Ty Cobb and even better known for killing Ray Chapman with a pitched ball. In any event, glad to be able to use this pointless knowledge.

I almost screwed up when I accidentally hit Orlando Cabrera when meaning to hit Orlando Cepeda for the BOS/StL square. But it turns out that both were correct so that saved me.
And then I whiffed on BOS/DET

I used Jim Bouton, too. I took a gamble that Pilots would count as Brewers.

Not easy if you go up there swinging for the fences and pick Cory Snider as a Cleveland all-star

I would have gotten a better score if I had used Harmon Killebrew for the Royals Hall of Famer.
