In other news, Ben Gamel is still playing. His brother, Mat, was a big prospect back in the day.

He probably instantly becomes Syracuse's top hitter.
Came up in the Yankee organization at the same time Carlos Mendoza was coming up as a coach and manager.

I don't want to get too far ahead of the news cycle, but Mets Roster Central is preparing a release stating that Ben "The Two of Us" Gamel is joining the Mets for tonight's game as Starling Marte hits the injured list.
Tyrone Taylor getting the starte in right.

FINALLY. He's been tearing it up at Triple-A all year.
Hopefully Mike Brosseau gets a tryout soon, too.
