Familiar faces in different places:

- Corbin Burnes … the CY winner in ’21 (plus three other top tens) will be slinging it for Baltimore this year after an off season trade

- Brandon Woodruff, the other co-ace in recent years will start this one on the IL where he’ll likely miss the entire season

- Lefty hurler Wade Miley has a short term injury but it’ll be enough for him to miss this series

- Devin Williams, the top notch RH reliever [1.53 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, 38 Saves] who went from setting up Josh Hader to later replacing
him has a stress fracture in his back which will shelve him until June at a minimum

New Faces:

- Rhys Hoskins, phormer Phillie who blew out his knee in a non-contact play during the WBC a spring training game a year ago
signed with Milwaukee in the off-season and will presumably make the majority of starts at 1B

- OF Jackson Chourio, MLB’s #2 ranked prospect* will open the season with the big club just two weeks past his 20th birthday.
And why not seeing as how he’s already signed an eight-year contract prior even to his ML debut.

* And also the #2 ranked Jackson but #1 prospect Jackson (son of Matt) Holliday will Not start the season with the Orioles

The M/B logo that is also the glove holding the baseball is maybe my all time favorite team logo (that isn't the NYC skyline with Mets in front of it in a beautiful script, of course).

I mean, that's it, right there

I've always liked that too. Very clever.

I don't much care for that logo. Yeah its a glove, I get it. very clever. But it's not like its a swinging friar.
