What's in Store for Twenty-Four?: Luis Severino

A former Yankee Opening Day starter trying to refind his mojo as a Mets mid-rotation cog. Fun Fact, this has almost never been tried before. Bartolo Colón never took the hill for the Yankees on Opening Day. Mike Torrez never did. The closest thing to a precedent I can come up with is David Cone 2.0, and ... that's not a very healthy precendent.

So I'm unprecedented. I'm Unprecedented Fucking Luis Severino, and that means you're going to have a time coming up with a prior Met to reference in predicting my 2024. Jeff D'Amico? Pete Smith? Orlando Hernandez?

Good luck. Just get your guesses in by tomorrow, because guess who is starting Game Two?

I forgot he was even with the team.

7-9, 5.22, will be moved into the bullpen after the All-Star break.

Looked like Luis was playing 'What's in Store for Twenty-Three?' instead.
