Has he been to Spring Training with the O's, or will he have to spend some time getting ready?

He was with Baltimore until March 24th so it doesn't look like he will have to go to the minor for too long, if at all.

Erstwhile Met-killer, since solved. Scouting report pegs him as “available”.

Feels poor to get so much trash from the Brewers

Julio is considered "stretched out" and will slot in as a starter from the get go

He is replacement level rather than disaster level. Whatever.

Thank you. The new 3-hour doc on Paul Simon is good.

ESPN reports that the contract is for $2.5 million guaranteed, with the ability to earn another $450,000 in performance bonuses.
This is really a low-risk move that could potentially be a significant help.

It's somewhere in the TV Guide that was in the mail or check the listings in the newspaper...
MGM+, formerly known as Epix. You might have it and not know you have it.

...so be sure to ask your doctor about Epix.

While I'm in the docs office I'll check to see of they have the TV Guide
I actually used to have EPIX

I don't want to be a kook, but I kind of have more confidence in Teheran at this stage of his career than I have right now in Severino.
At any rate, it'll be a rare occasion for the Mets to have two Colombians in their rotation.

That doesn't sound so kooky.

Both had some good years followed by a big fall.
Teheran's older so he's had more of both.
And while Severino obviously wasn't good in start #1 I thought he was also a bit unlucky: several plays Not made (one changed to an error days later) plus a bunch of hits that were finding more holes than gloves.
Don't really know what to expect from either at this point.

Julio has been added to the roster (at Michael Tonkin’s expense). Will wear 49.

Last I looked, the planned starters in Cincinnati were Quintana, Severino, and Manaea. Unless that's changed, I'm surprised they dropped a reliever prior to Monday, which would be the earliest we'd expect to see Teheran.
