I'm not surprised with McNeil's apparent marginalization, but two consecutive doses of Luís Torrens is curious.

Hopefully it's not just another sleepy dusty delta day for the club.

Torrens hit 15 homers in 346 at bats for the Mariners in 2021

He hasn't done much since but at age 28 he could become useful again

We shall see who gets sent down when Alvarez comes back

The real kick in the pants would be Nido getting traded at the deadline

Leadoff walk is a good start. Alonso back where he made his debut.

Iglesias is kind of dramatically delaying the debut of his magic hands.

McNeil is sitting despite being 6-for-7 in his career against McKenzie Gore.

Now foofy Bader comes up with his dorky shoulder shimmy and ridiculous pads.

Iglesias can be our hero, baby.

I remember when he was a BIG prospect back in the day.

He was involved in this deal:

July 30, 2013: Traded as part of a 3-team trade by the Boston Red Sox to the Detroit Tigers. The Detroit Tigers sent Avisaíl García to the Chicago White Sox. The Detroit Tigers sent Brayan Villarreal to the Boston Red Sox. The Chicago White Sox sent Jake Peavy to the Boston Red Sox. The Boston Red Sox sent Cleuluis Rondon (minors), Frankie Montas and J.B. Wendelken to the Chicago White Sox.

After two throw-overs, might as well just walk to second.

Well, one of the true outcomes was inevitable. Unfortunately, it was the bad one.

They should be called the New York Melts because they always melt down and their leads always melt away.
