And in the AL, the Orioles finally got off their losing streak (5) with a 4-2 win over Cleveland

The Blue Jays stick a 1st inning five-spot on the Yanx and Carlos Rodon tonight in Toronto.
Rodon, like Gil and most of the rest of their starting staff, had been very good right up until about the 70-game mark.
In Rodon's case he had just one outing with more than 3 ER in his first 14 starts. But now that's changed:
- 6/15 vs BOS: 5 earned on 7 hits & 3 BBs
- 6/21 vs ATL: 8 runs (7 ER) on 11 hits in just 3.2 IP
- tonight: 5 earned on 6 hits in the bottom of the 1st
That's 18 earned in two starts plus an inning.
He had given up just 26 earned in his first 14 starts combined.
And did I say it's 5-0. Well now it's 8-0 as my cousin George just went deep with two aboard.
One out in the 2nd.

Mets pull within a half game of the final Wild Card spot just by enjoying their day off, as the Cards fall handily to the Reds, 11–4.

Braves, Phils, Yanks all lose.
Idleness never seemed so productive.

Who needs Guillorme?
Also, that Phillie loss may be costly.

Yanx & Jays are trading blow-outs in the first three of their four game series: 9-2 Jays, 15-6 Yanx, and, today, 9-3 Jays
That's 9, 12, 9, 6, and 9 runs allowed by NYY pitching over the last five games [1-4]
Oh, and Juan Soto was a late scratch with a hand issue that needs further evaluation.
Braves beat the Pirates 2-1 in 10 innings in a Paul Skenes/Max Fried matchup game
Skenes: 6 IP, 1 R, 6 hits, 2 BB, 9 K and a near identical line for Fried: 6 IP, 1 R, 6 hits, 3 BB, but only 4 K
Phils have lost 2 of 3 to the Marlins (lots of four game series this week).
Only 4, 2, and 2 runs scored w/o IL'ers Harper, Realmuto, and Schwarber
