It's late notice but lets have some predictions for the Second Half Mets aka SHaMs.

They've got a tough road ahead. 23 games in the next 24 days. A rough September, and a harder schedule (strength of opponent wise) than virtually all of the other NL playoff contenders. I'm not optimistic but I hope I am wrong.

As presently constituted, I don't think the team can keep their current level going.
If you ask this after the trading deadline, I might be more optimistic.

I picked the option to get them to 88 wins. That's not as good as June-July and a lot better than April-May

I went with the 36-31 second half. Hopefully, Senga can return and be a reasonable facsimile of last season and they can acquire some bullpen help before the deadline, then I am optimistic they can do well. Otherwise I feel they are essentially a .500 (or faintly better) team.
