Looking for veteran presence in your outfield depth, with a record of playoff success? Well look no further, because two days ago (but unremarked on in this space), the Mets signed Eddie Rosario, longtime Twin outfielder (he received MVP votes in 2019 and 2020) who joined the Braves at the end of 2021 and pulled a rabbit out of his butt, seemingly singlehandedly defeating the Dodgers in the 2021 NLCS, before earning the world's gaudiest championship ring as the Braves went on the beat the Astros.
Rosario, now 32, began the 2024 season with the Nats before re-joining the Braves for a stretch. That's two division rivals cutting him loose in one season, and hey, maybe he straightens things out, but for both teams, his batting averages were so low, it's INSANE!
