Well, that's on me, as I gave ashie a time-out last night. I reinstated his posting privileges before I went to bed.

Not getting no-hit for half the game (or longer) would be a break in the recent routine.

My IGT percentage is about .800

That's the only reason I have been eager to do these

This is absurd , if the Mets lose I'll take the blame , no need to rag on the hitters .... I actually thought I'll start the IGT to help lighten the mood around here , can't believe you take it this seriously

At least several take it seriously

LGM!!

I entirely let it go and hope the Mets kick arse tonight

Not even close. It's .667 and that's because you IGT'd the Mets longest win streak of the year, a nine game run. Without that streak, your IGT percentage would be at about the Mets season winning percentage. So you're breaking even. Of course you IGT'd that nine game winning streak. Somebody hadda get that streak and it was you because you hog up all the IGT's so it was likelier that it'd be you, instead of anybody else.

You're that guy that shows up at the party and goes over to the shrimp salad and puts like 25 pieces of shrimp in his plate but only like one and a half pieces of lettuce from the shrimp salad. Then a minute later, the next guy goes over to the shrimp salad to help himself and after going through the now thoroughly scavenged damn salad with his serving tongs and unable to find a single shrimp, yells over to the host: "There's no shrimp in this shrimp salad! Where the hell are all the shrimp!?! What kind of a party is this?"

And then you come over to that poor shrimpless party guest and tell him that he should've gotten to the shrimp salad at seven in the morning when the hosts were preparing the shrimp salad because if he'd gotten to the shrimp salad at seven in the morning, he would've gotten some pieces of shrimp.

Edgy MD wrote: Mon Sep 16, 2024 2:11 pm I feel good when my IGT starts a run also. It's totally irrational, of course, but a good feeling is a nice thing.

All the more reason that it's cool to let each other share in the opportunity, and encourage each other liberally to participate.

I knew that. IGT's matter. I'm certain of that and I base it on reading this forum for years and years and years. Edgy's post just confirms what I always suspected. If they don't matter to Grimm, that's fine, too. Different strokes for different folks.

You are starting again

Why?

You are disrespecting me yet again

Please stop

Just run to Edgy whenever somebody criticizes you. What a big baby you are. Jesus christ. I'm not harrassing you. This is one disagreement between us. It's not personal. I have nothing against you. I would've written the same posts no matter who hogged up the IGT's like you did.

In just one thread, I was called a troll and made a to be a villain and then "FAIL"'d just because I don't give a flying fuck about next year's schedule. I gp through that kind of a clusterfuck like every other month. So give me a break. But when I totally demonstrated that it was perfectly fine to express disinterest in the schedule so long as it wasn't me not caring, nobody said anything. Nobody apologized. Nothing.

It's OK, though, when Grimm doesn't give a flying fuck whether someone hogs up the IGT's.

Whatever. I'm done with this topic.

I did read it and yeah you have some valid points

You do have a habit of coming hard and fast in an aggressive manner at people at times

I'll cop to my failings anyway
