I'm watching and Jeff Francoeur in on with Ron Darling, I can't believe it, and i had to look, but it was 2009 when Jeff was with the Mets. I think my disbelief is how fast the years are going by

Yanx score 3 in the 3rd on a HR (Soto) plus three walks and two wild pitches.
At least make them earn it!!

Bad job by Cleveland, but still not as bad as Luis Castillo.

Yeah, yanx have scored six runs so far in this series (10 innings) and have been handed half if them.
Last night: walk, walk, walk, wild pitch, wild pitch
Tonight's 1st inning: 1st & 3rd, none out, dropped infield Pop up

Both 'Aces' are now gone.
Cleveland's Bibee doesn't last the 2nd, and Cole doesn't make it through 5 despite just one run allows so far. He does leave, however, with sacks loaded and one out.

Guardians have closed to 3-2 but have left a small village on base thru 5 including them loaded in the 5th

He was the closer for most of the season so he's not jacked up for long outings.

And Boone has the 'Bitching at Umpires' lead about 7 - Zip so far.
He somehow got the umps to have a six-man confab in order to discuss a time violation on Juan Soto (it made the count 0-1). He then bitched about it all the way to the dugout and after that when they didn't reverse the decision.
I have no idea what specifically the umps were discussing although I hope it was their post-game dinner plans.

Judge just hit a 2 run HR to tie the game of their closer in the 8th , a line drove to right that cleared the fence in about 2 seconds
And now Stanton just homered

The Cleveland closer, Emmanuel Clase, pitched 74 innings this season giving up 5 ER, 39 hits, and 2 HRs.
Tonight he comes with 2 out and one on in the 8th and goes HR, HR, 1B before finally ending the inning.

There were also a few crazy plays, Cleveland effed up a rundown and Andres Gimenez and Naylor combined for this jawdropper

I was on the Cleveland radio broadcast yesterday (right up until the 9th inning when the Met game started so I missed all the fireworks). Anyway, one of the Cleveland guys talked about how they couldn't use the language that Sterling had used to describe a Yanqui mistake from the previous game (i think it was also a pickoff). 'John can get away with that', he said, 'but we'd get fired'.
Not sure what it was but that's gotta be on the internet somewhere.
