Starling Marte and José Quintana are the closest of Mets teammates, but something must've happened on their trip to Japan, as Starling has reverted to his old Pirates colors and Quintana has donned his former Cardinal red as the two of them square off in mortal kombat.



Starling's got the advantage of upper-body strength and ferocity, but if a cool headed Quintana can take Marte's frequently rebuilt legs out of the picture, it's over.

It would make me nervous if Marte raised his hands at me. Even in jest.
