Batting second on the road in the first game in Mets history, Felix is the #2 all-time Met chronologically, at least by the reckoning this page adopted.
When I am owner, each Met's chronological ranking will appear in half-inch digits sewn into the sleeve below the skyline logo.

I love Felix's 1962 card. He freakishly looks like someone I know
and see pretty much every weekday. He's a brother and not Hispanic,
but he looks just like Felix.

Came up through the minors alongside Hank Aaron.
After being traded to the Red Sox, he had a thirty-homer season, more than 1/3 of his career total in a single year.

He and Hank Aaron were the keystone combo at Jacksonville before they made the majors.
Aaron played second, Felix played short.
