Sometimes just for fun...

I'll play around with Mets' names. Yesterday for example I noticed how many players these days have first names for last names and vice versa, or at least names that can be easily reversed. "Marty Starling" is the most obvious example, and I can easily imagine a player known as "Alonso Peters" or "Lindy Francisco." "Neil McJeffries." "Gil Metylor."

Today, I'm re-imagining former Mets by switching up one letter from their first names with one letter from their last names. So "Roy Tanlor" and "Dan Cordwell" and "Tag McGruw" from the 1969 squad.

Am I bored or just deprived of MLB for too long?

We think someone who does that is in need of a serious baseball fix.
And we're right here with you.

Connections is the word game with sometimes odd ways to connect four words!

And sometimes it’s something similar…like changing one letter to get an animal name or something

Depends on what you're doing, I guess. If you're attempting to do an impression of an alleycat on an acid trip, you're off to a great start.

And the Edgemeister gets on the board!

Sam Jobito

Scooter Marcoo

Maurice Ronnio

Stuart Dick

Todd Jackson (these last two go on the Otis Amos/Ryan Nolan simple switcheroo list)

Will Carley

Lary Frank

Jeff Greggries

and here's another switcheroo, an eerie one, because of its resemblance to the name of an accused murderer:
Klaus Bobby.
