How Will He Thrive in Twenty-Five?: Nick Madrigal

Post by Edgy MD » Sun Mar 23, 2025 10:37 am

They throw over José Iglesias for this guy and then he almost immediately fractures his shoulder on a non-contact play. Putin has got to be behind this, somehow, right?

Will he get back on the field? Will he pull a Jed Lowrie and make but a token appearance before his contract expires, just so he can tell his grandkids he was a Met? Will the only shots of him in true Mets togs be digital manipulations and AI-generated abominations? I imagine you have knowledge in this area.

Madrigal isn't expected to be back this season per RotoWire.

If he didn't get hurt, I would've predicted he'd be a Danny Mendick clone (~30 G, <.200 BA).

He's not important enough for the Mets to want to bring back, so he'll disappear without ever donning a Mets uniform.

The Madrigal will become a dirge.
He will make Lowrie look like Cal Ripken, Jr.
No appearances this year.

Apparently one did. He can't get away from the tell.
I have never insulted anyone. I simply describe them, accurately.
