We're not going to let a little thing like a change in CPF format stop my adoption of this lefty pitcher.
He dropped off the radar with TJ surgery, and made cameo appearances at several minor league stops during rehab last year.

He may start off in the bullpen to build up his stamina, but the kid was rated as a major league starter and I think he'll be in the rotation at AAA, with an appearance in the majors this year.
Welcome home, kid.
The pirogies are cooking as we speak.

Three outings out of the pen for the Giants' AAA team so far. One run in 2.2 IP, but a 5/1 K/BB ratio.
Re: Adopted Thomas Szapucki
He missed all of 2023 and 2024 (so far), but supposedly he's due back pretty soon.
