Old guys get together to play ball. Hijinks ensue.

So no spoilers, but go see this. It's low-key funny and sneaky sad. There's a lot of baseball. Funny sounds. I love the uniforms of the red team. Drags a little at times but that's baseball.

I would rewatch this often enough to learn the dialog and catch what I missed the 1st time.

I'm glad this gets a thumbs-up from you. It would be a shame if a great name like Eephus was wasted on just another bad baseball film.

Looks good from the trailer and has good reviews. I cannot endure a movie theater at this point in my life, I'm too old and too annoyed by commercials and adjacent phones and really just everything that is stupid and annoying, so I'll have to catch it once it's streaming.

Yeah, looks good. Hadn't heard of it before this though.

I'm the opposite of FMan. Would much rather see a film in a theater. Have to say that, at least at the theaters I've attended lately, haven't had issues with audience members (though I certainly have encountered that, just not in a long time). I get distracted at home and the bigness of the screen can rope me in. I also go to a lot of live theater so I'm consistent that way.
