He gave up a run today. That's hardly coming back down to earth. His ERA is now all the way up to 1.04.
The run also scored largely because of a wild pitch, which had to be scored as a wild pitch because it was in the dirt, and tradition sort of dictates that everything that's in the dirt and gets away is so scored, but it was eminently blockable and subjected to a noticeably uninspired blocking effort by Omar Narváez.
