Third straight inning with the leadoff man on.
Still haven't got one to second base.

Is it just me, or do we manage to embarrass ourselves on SNB about 80% of the time?

Canha trying to throw out runners for the cycle.
Which usually means there have been a large amount of opposing runners.

I don't feel that prime time games have been very kind to the Mets - or the Jets for that matter - in recent years.Frayed Knot wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2023 8:42 pm Is it just me, or do we manage to embarrass ourselves on SNB about 80% of the time?

I've done that from LF, including a force play at 1B
OK, mine was in a softball game rather than at Fenway Park, but I'm claiming an equivalency.

Two more tallies this inning will make this an interesting game. But stalling here or even with just one more run will be a big disappointment.

Runner on 3rd (and 1st) none out ... and not a single ball out of the infield.
We can complain about the pitching woes all we want but our RA/G is right around MLB avg while the RS/G is considerably below.

Well the BoSox have their 'Round Robin' card complete as they've now had runners tagged out at 1st, 2nd, 3rd and home.
4 of their first 17 outs were self-inflicted.

Radio ads keep promising me "more balls into play due to shift restrictions."
I'm not sure how that is supposed to work.
