It's Tuesday Night Mets so it better be. They owe us after the last one, the doubleheader with LA that was about as low things got (so far). Section 410, we're moving on up

Such a strange schedule quirk. Today is June 11. The Mets will play just their third night game of the month.

I wonder if we've had a stretch like that before.

I don't know what Megill just threw to Gordon, but I hope he throws a lot more of those.

Vientos might have had a better play at home, but there's the go-ahead run.

I was surprised they didn't send Chisolm home on the fly to Nimmo, and the part where he was tagging from 1st was just plain stupid.
He seemed quite pleased with himself standing there on 3rd base for a guy who should have already scored twice and then only got
home via a bad throw by Vientos.

The Chisholm trail was never the most direct of routes.

Would let Iglesias hit for himself here. No one left but Torrens for the last two innings.

The thing about that Ventura-as-Piaza stunt during a rain delay in a Subway Series game (just shown during the pitching change break) is that
the Yanqui players were aghast that it was going on. That sort of frivolity was not allowed on their side of the fence and not a single player
would dare try anything like it.

And it's starting to look like we're going to lose this game on account of two poor throws.
Well, that and the fact that they can't hit their way out of a wet paper bag.

Yeah, this is a low-scoring/low-hit game that's somehow going to clock in at right around 3 hours.
Pre-rule changes in might already be at 3:15 with bottom 9 still to come.

A really soggy second half of the game for the Mets. No noise at all.
